I am using Outlook 2000. While having some computer problems, it once would
not come up, saying 'would you like to create a new folder?' (or somthing
like that.) I typed 'yes' and it messed up my Outlook. Now when writing a
name in the Address field of an Email message, it says "No matches found".
When I click on 'show more names' there are none listed. (I used to be able
to type first name or a few letters and it recognized the person, or any
person with similar letters in their name). I cannot figure out how to reset
Outlook so that when I click on the "To" button I get the names that are in
my Contacts list.

Viewing my folder list, it shows two folders: 'Personal folders' and
'Outlook Today - {Personal folders} . How can I merge all the information
(including sent items) into one folder and eliminate the problem? My
contacts come up in the 'Personal folders' list. Even when I choose the
'Personal folders' list, I cannot get it to recognize a name when I type it
in the addresss field for an email message. Clicking the "To" shows no
contacts listed at all. I have tried the help wizard and read FAQ online
and still need your help.
