importing and exporting outlook stuff
In Outlook, go to
File
Import and Export
Export to a File
Personal Folder File (.pst)
select your folder (check the box) include subfolders
Save exported file as (at this point choose the default or browse)
Check~Do not export duplicate items (actually you can choose any one of the three options)
Finish
For your calendar, do the above but choose
export to a file
Comma Separated Values (Windows)
when you get to finish, you will then need to put in the dates you want included.
Now just copy those saved files onto a memory stick and paste them into your new computer, then
go to Import Export
Import from another program file
Personal Folder File OR Comma Separated Values Windows
Browse for file to import which is the one you just pasted in
and so on
