on the activities tab for a contact, not all the things
associated to the contact are showing up? is there
something that i shold be setting?

but when i try to link a "sent item" that has been
archived the fields that display are "from" which is
me. "subject" and "received" Obviously this is of no use
to me so how do i change the fields that are displayed on
this popup window???? for the normal sent items folder it
show the field "To"...

please help its driving me mad
 
When an item is moved to another mail store the EntryID and StoreID
change, which makes any links invalid. Any items that are moved or
exported or imported also no longer have valid links. You would have
to re-link items in those cases. You can't link across mail stores, so
an item in an archive PST file could only be linked to a contact in
that PST file.

While the Activities view is customizable (right-click on a column
header and select the Field Chooser) you can't customize the address
book view that is shown when you link an item.
