I recently got XP with MS Outlook 2003. When I create a
new email and click on the "To" so my contact list comes
up the names are displayed as first name, last name. Any
idea how to change the display to last name, first name
without changing each contact? I have about 1200 names in
my contact list.
Also, I have subfolders in my contact list with groups of
names. I had the option to select any of these subfolders
of contacts when I'd create a new email and click "To"
when I had MS Outlook 2000 (MS Office 2000 Professional).
Now I don't have that option with XP. Can someone help me
with that?

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

R click each subfolder to access the Properties dialog and enable each as an
email address book.

I think you can go into
Outlook\Tools\Options\Preferences\Contact Preferences to
change the filed as and displayed order of the name
fields. Hope this helps.
