Contact list order by last name

When I go to contact folder, it shows last name then first
name on list.
When I try to send mail, it shows first name first then
last name.

Help!

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

Thank you. It works in Office 2003 also, you just have
to restart Outlook after the change.
