Contact List Not Updating

I have a user that's using Outlook 2003, and they have a Contact list that's allowing them to add contacts to it, but when they go to a new email message the contact they just added is not appearing. We've alredy verified they're adding it to the right address book. I also had him verify the added user was not showing up in the Contacts list instead of his <named> Contacts list

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Your post is confusing.
Define what you mean by "Contact List."
Define what you mean by "adding to the right address book." Outlook does not
use address books.
