Contact List in Folder Navigation Pane

In Vista Windows Mail is there a way to show the Contact List or Address
book "in the left pane" below where is it???

Not possible in WM.

Workaround: open WM and Contacts, then resize the windows to sit side by
side.
 
You've got to be kidding (I know, don't shoot the messenger:) ) I just keep
adding workarounds - why is this version better than Outlook Express? It is
certainly adding to the list of 'tasks' I have to do each day just to answer
my email.
