Hi I have an Outlook question. I am on a State system,
so every time I go to my address book I have a list of
districts to choose from. How do I set it so whenever I
want to send a new e-mail, I can click on my address book
and have it go directly to my "contacts" so I don't have
to hit the drop down arrow, scroll to Contacts and click
on it? I can't seem to find the place where I can set
Contacts as my default every time I go into my address
book. Thank you for you help!

Marc

We have a similar issue. How do you default to a
specific folder in Outlook 2003 when you have more than
one folder?

Our other problem is that she used to use Express 6 and
we exported her contacts 4 or 5 times til we got a format
that Outlook 2003 would accept. Once we did get the
export/import to work, one of the folders called CFT does
not show up in the Navigation Pane, yet everytime she
starts a new email and hits "To:" there is an error
message saying file not found or invalid file. Then it
goes to the To: window and the default folder is that CFT
folder that can't be found. All other folders do show in
Navigation but not this CFT one. How do I get CFT out of
Outlook if it's not really there?

Open the address book > Tools > Options
"Show this address list first"

Your second question is unrelated and requires a much clearer description
than what you've given. There is no need to create a different file format
to import Contacts from OE. Import them directly from OE using Outlook's
Import Wizard.

Thank you very much!!!

I don't think the problem is so much the import/export
now. I think it's more just a matter of deleting the
folder manually from the systems folder where it's
located.
