I have now completed the new email profile and yes! my address book is now
functioning.... but I don't seem to know how to access my old contacts that
were on this computer but were accessible by the Address Book in my original
configuration which I had downloaded (Yes, now I know it was a mistake) with
the EZ Transfer program. I do wish that Microsoft would have given some
warning. This is driving me a bit crazy and using up lots of hours....

Help?
Thanks

Clarify in what format these contacts were stored. If they were Outlook
Contacts you simply need to find and open the Outlook data file in which
they reside. Only you could know that.

If I knew in what format these contacts were stored, I probably wouldn't be
on this discussion board. When I started Outlook 2007 I had all of my
contacts in my original email profile... I just didn't have the Address Book
to use to get to those contacts. So, I followed the instructions to make a
new email profile. That is now working great and my email is appearing....
but my calendars and my contacts are in a folder that I don't know about.
I'm not an expert in Windows... I now no longer even want to work with these
darned programs. So, in short, if I had a clue about where they are stored,
I'd get them.

If there is another place for me to get help, please direct me there. I am
quite willing to pay more money to end this very frustrating sequence of
events. I have a business that is waiting for me.

Thanks

Not sure what your confusion is.
All Outlook data is stored in the same file. No data is ever stored in any
"address book." The address book view is simply a view of the electronic
addresses in your Contacts Folder.
So if you had your Contacts data before, you still do, unless you
deliberately deleted it from your data file.

Well, obviosly I don't have the same command of the programs that you do. I
haven't 'deliberately' deleted anything. Can you please direct me to another
place for help?

No. Can you please clarify your question? You have posted no information we
can use to reproduce your problem.

When you created your new mail profile, it seems you also created a new PST.
Since the data you were referencing is in your old PST, you won't see it.
Close Outlook and with the Mail applet in Control Panel, use the Data Files
button to add the old PST to the mail profile and make it the delivery
location. Usually there's no need to create a new PST.
