Contact form replaced by Outlook menu bar

I have a brand new XP system with Outlook 2000 just installed as an
Exchange client. All patches and service packs are installed. When I try
to create a contact, a little Outlook menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc)
appears instead of the form. It doesn't matter how I try to access the
form, double-clicking in Address Book, selecting New - Contact,
right-clicking on Contacts and selecting New. What is going on?!
Everything else is functioning normally.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a new contact might be opening but in a teeny, tiny window. Try
dragging the lower right corner of that "menu."

When I drag the window, it just shows more menu items and some icons,
i.e. printer, paper clip. How can I get it to simply open the default form?

Thanks.

Did you make it taller as well as wider?

How tall will Outlook let you make it?

Also note: The newsgroup interface you are using apparently does not quote
earlier messages in the thread, making your latest message so short on
detail that you risk not getting the answer you're looking for. Please take
the time to quote the original message.

I am not sure why the quoted message isn't showing up on your end-- it
shows up when I compose the reply. I simply clicked the full screen
button and it opened completely and there was the contact form. Now it
defaults to the full-size form in a new window, which is fine. Thanks
for your help!
