I would like to access the "contact" data in Outlook Express.
Which reference do I have to use ? (I was thinking at "Office").

Thanks
for any help

Correction, see the message from Armin.
These links are for Outlook Exchange and not for Outlook Express

I would like to access the "contact" data in Outlook Express.

Are you requring Outlook Express to be silent during the process you are
accessing the information?

Try this:
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(wab)

gets the current address book.

OE does not offer a COM automation model. There is no (official) interface
to OE.

I remember that some worms took the addresses out of OE's (which is
actually Windows', AFAIK) address book. Consequently, there must be a
way to do that.

picky picky :). I figured he would know that.

But you are right of course.

May be, but he was talking about OE.

Hi
... my OE doesn't have its own address book.

Armin did you also see that he was less complaining the last times, that he
had missed post, can it be that Herfrieds hamster died?

My hamster is still alive :-), but I switch between OE and gnus more
often to avoid that I miss messages. BTW: That's not a Hamster
problem, but a gnus "problem".

I didn't know (or didn't have a closer look) that the "contact data" is the
same as the address book, so I thought it's OE specific data.

Hi Herfried,

I know it is gnus, however "Hamster died" sound cryptic for the ones who do
not know, you never saw I like that.
