Pardon me for repeating my question, but i added a new
post to an old question and cannot even find my original
question. So I guess that no one even found it to read
it so i will repeat it. -- phew! that was a mouthful.
Anyway. I have a machine where Windows XP Pro locks up on
boot. I am in the middle of fixing that by doing a
complete clean install. but I want to get the contacts
and the mail off of that system. I installed the hard
drive on this computer and went looking for
the .pst, .ost, and .pab files that I have read about in
the newsgroups. I cannot find them in the Mircrosoft
Office directory. I then further read where it could be
anywhere on the system, but I've already deleted the
Windows directory.
Also, I have tried to load up the other system's Office
XP on this system that i am using, but it keeps pulling
up MY information and contacts and old mail.
Thanks in advance and many gratitudes for a quick answer.
