After my drive crashed, I re-installed Outlook 2000 and restored my Outlook
data. Now there are no activities listed under the contact's activies tab,
not even current ones. I.e. no links to appointments, emails, etc. Any ideas?
Thanks.

right click on the contacts folder and choose properties, then activities
tab - which folders are you searching?

Thank you.
I would like all activites represented. It already shows "All items" as the
default activities view. Do I highlight "all items" in the folder groups list
and click on "reset"?
Thanks

I found this fix inadvertently on the internet. The fix is for problems with
reminders that are not displaying properly and is caused by the installation
of Ofiice 2000 Service Pack 3. When I installed this fix, it also fixed the
problem I was having with the activities not appearing under the activities
tab. Here is the link:

FWIW, you should connect directly to the office update or ms download site,
not go through a 3rd party. This insures you get the correct updates and
they aren't hacked.

Diane,
Hoping you can shed some light on something I'm struggling with...
Can any Outlook client see email activity on Activities Tab of a Contact
that is to/from a different Outlook client?

Environment: Exchange Server 2003 and Outlook 2003.

All Contacts will be stored in a Public Folder on the Exchange Server.
So, when, for example, I go to a Contact, I'd like to go to the Activities
Tab and see any emails that were sent to or received from that Contact by me
(my machine), or anyone else's machine (that is also connected to the Exhange
Server).
Thanks in advance!
It's a deal breaker for a custom form application we've put together for a
client.

no, only the items in the users mailbox will display in activities.
