Connector arrow head anomaly

Has anyone noticed that the behavior of connectors with
open arrow heads has changed from previous versions of
PowerPoint? Previous versions would display the point of
the arrow in perfect alignment with the edge of the
object, PowerPoint 2002 leaves a gap. It only happens on
open arrow heads, the rest behave as before.

This has caused all my PPT diagrams using arrow head
connectors incorrectly and is a major annoyance. Does
anyone know of a cure?

Actually, what I see in PowerPoint 2000 is that the open arrow appears to
slightly overlap the autoshape that it is connected to. When I save the
presentation and open it in PowerPoint 2002 the tip of the arrow kisses the
edge of the autoshape exactly. I suspect that this is a change, but it's
rather like the glass - - is it half empty or half full? For me I prefer
the exactness of PowerPoint 2002.
