I AM IN CHARGE OF A WINDOWS 2000 SEVER NETWORK. I AM
UPGRADING A WORKSTATION FROM WIN98 TO WIN2000. THE WAY I
AM DOING THIS IS WIN 98 IS ON A SEPERATE HARD DRIVE (20
GIG), WHILE WIN2000 ON NEW HD (80 GIG). I CAN BOOT FROM
EITHER THROUGH BIOS. I CAN NOT CONNECT WIN2000 TO DOMAIN.
I CAN, HOWEVER, MAP A NETWORK DRIVE TO SERVER. I HAVE
CHECKED IP ADDRESS (ASSIGNED BY ME) TIME AND TIME AGAIN
BUT I GET THE ERROR OF CAN'T LOCATE NETWORK PATH, THUS
PREVENTING ME FROM JOINING THE DOMAIN. I HAVE UPGRADED
OTHER COMPUTERS ON THE NETWORK W/OUT A PROBLEM IN THE
PAST. COULD THIS ALSO BE A SERVER PROBLEM??? NETWORK ONLY
HAS 10 WORKSTATIONS ON IT.
