When setting up Outlook 2003 on a Windows 2000 computer, I am not able to
access the Exchange server. I can ping both the IP address and the name of
our Exchange Server from this computer. But when I try to "Check Name" under
exchange server setting, I get an error that says, "The name could not be
resolved. the connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable.
Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." I am sure that
I am entering a correct Exchange server name and mailbox name but I am still
getting this error. I have installed all patches for Windows 2000 and Office
2003. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
