fix my connection now!!!!!!!

I am hating Vista right now...I bought a computer from Frys and I brougt it
home and it connected to the internet just fine. Sometime later it decided
to lose sight of the network altogether. I have vista 32bit. My video card
is an nVidia nForce Networking Controller. The driver currently on there is
nvm60x32.sys. After doing some google searching I have found that I am not
the only idiot who decided to try vista out and is having the same problem.
I would like to know how to fix this...God Vista is annoying.

I have just encountered this problem after having this laptop for 1.5
years. All of a sudden the internet connection is not found. (I have
wireless thru a linksys wireless router). The driver is nvm60x32 but I
can't seem to figure out a way to re-load it without doing a full
format. If anyone can help me, please advise!!! :)

Have you tried doing a system restore to a date just prior to when
this began?

can you please post the text output of ipconfig /all
http://digitalmediaphile.wordpress.com/ipconfig-all-how-to-get-text-output/

as a reply here?

Yes the device (NVIDIA nforce Networking Controller) is enabled and in
Device Manager. I don't know if there are any key combinations but the
switch is in the on position but shows a yellow light (I think before
when it worked it was blue or red)

type ncpa.cpl in the start menu then hit [enter]

right click each of the connections (one at a time)
then properties (ack the prompt)
are all the boxes checked?

Thanks so much for trying to help me!! :) I appreciate your input

have you ruled out all issues with the Linksys router? what happens
if you bypass the router and connect directly to your broadband
modem and then power cycle the modem?

Thanks so much for all your help!
When I tried to "delete" the network adapter, it would only uninstall.
I did that but it immediately re-installed. So no luck there. Do you
think if I just did a complete format and used my recovery disks that
might work? Or is the wireless Network card (or whatever you call it)
just not working?
