Are there any tweaks that can be carried out in Windows XP that will
increase the speed of the Internet connection, broadband or dial up?

Thanks

if you want to increas your speed of internet, you must to go to
1)Run and then type gpedit.msc and click OK
2)in "Local Comuter Policy" and under the " Computer Configuration" open
the "Administrative Templates" then open the "Network"
3)pick up the "Qos Packet Scheduler"
4)look on the right of page and right click on the "Limit reseivable
bandwidth" and click on the "Properties "
5)after the window will open on the "Setting" and under the "Limit
reservable bandwidth" pick up the "Enable"
6)clear the "20" and then type "0"
now go to your connection and be sure that the" Packet Scheduler"(in the
connection/ properties/networking) is enable.
have a good time.
