Good afternoon..

The problems is as follows

Machine "A" terminal server with windows 2000
Machine "B" with Client and windows 2000

Connection to Machine "A" can be done with dialup or high speed with any client BUT Machine "B".
Machine "B" can connect with any Terminal Server BUT Machine "A

Pinging, trace routing all is fine. Machine "B" has a linksys router on it suppling the ip, dns and Mtu Sizes. Set right now to 1392. No packet loss at that point
Machine "A" has a Duel DLS router (netgear).

My problem is where do I now look. All of the routing has been checked by the ISP and they say all is fine. MTU and ports must be ok if other clients and servers can be accessed. Totally lost at this point. Suggestions??????

Do you get an error message when you are refused?
Is there anything in the EventLog on the TS at that time?
Have you checked your licensing situation?

If you see an EventID 1004 (cannot issue license), then you either
have to install extra TS CALs, or lower the MTU size still more,
because you have a black hole router between your client and the
TS, which blocks packets above a certain size. This prevents the
transfer of the permanent TS CAL to the client (on first
connection, the client gets a temporary license, on second
connection, it gets a permanent license).

Check the Terminal Services FAQ, there are 2 items about this
under "Connectivity"

There are no error messages. BUT what I do see is a small computer icon when they are trying to connect in server manager but the do not complete it. The system in question can connect by way of dialup but not through DSL or high speed. Yet any other comuter can. the do not even get to the log on screen. Just times it's self out
