We have 2 dell laptops running Windows 2000 with
Attachmate Extra! installed. For certain users, they can
open a connection initially using Extra!, but after
rebooting the machine, are unable to reconnect. They are
met with only a blank screen (in Extra!.) However, when
logged in as admin or equivalent, the connection works
fine. rebuiliding the profile takes care of it, but only
until the next reboot. I have not been able to replicate
the problem anywhere else. It seems like some kind of
permissions issue, but I've even added the user to the
local admin group. The network is running active
directory. Anyone else have any similar experiences?
