After a long time with no problems, suddenly I cannot connect to a specific
site. My computer is running XP. Checking my many contacts, they all have
no problem connecting to this site. My ISP helpdesk insists in trying to
troubleshoot my computer whereas I (and other internet savvy contacts) feel
the problem lies external to my system. Some reasons for this are 1; three
different XP computers have exhibited the same problem, 2; when I connect to
the internet thru a different ISP (via wireless), the site is available, 3;
if I ping the site with my router, it is unsuccessful using the site name but
successful using the IP address.
Can I get some help with this or some arguments I can use with my ISP that
the problem is theirs?
