Connection Ok browser blocks

Hi, I would appreciate any feedback from someone whom
encountered the same problem.

I am running on Win 98 with explorer 6.0. I checked with
my internet high speed provider and the connection is just
fine.

I know it is fine since I can send and receive e-mails
with outlook while my browser is blocked. It blocks at
random for periods of up to a couple of minutes.

What is causing this? What can I do?


Cleaned up for parasites, did not find much. Downloaded
and ran Ad-
aware.

Disabled all that looks like another video
card..........Still blocks.

There may be a IE or windows patch for this?

If you have an unused network card disable it in Device Manager.
