Connection between Win XP and Win 2k

Hi I would like to make some file transfert between my
Office lap top with Win 200Pro and with my Home desktop
with XP through ehternet connection. I tried several time
without success. I am using a cross Ethernet wire, I am
able to ping from both side only.

what do you get if using net view \\remotepcname? net view should show the
sharing information. if not, you will get some errors. post back the error
code here.
