Hi everyone,
Finding the Movie Maker icon after i got XP created a monster. I've worked
on a few projects and now im working on my biggest one yet. I've been
editing for a couple of weeks (on free time) but cant seem to link two
projects together. Or dont know if its possible, been up and down
Microsoft site and all over the web.

I have 3 .mswmm projects completed, now i'd like to link them together for
the final. Did i screw up? should i have just kept it together to begin
with? or is there a way to do this with Movie Maker 2?

Eventually i'll be putting this to DVD, the burner is do to arrive in two
days, does the software that comes with that help accomplish my objective?

Thanks!

Hi there,

No, can't do that...creatre the movie for each and then re-import the
video's and join them that way.

Whether the software that comes with your writer will do...well what is the
software :)

Hi John

The DVD burning software that I use (Sonic MyDVD) allows you to specify
whether you want to return to the menu after a video file has played, or
whether you want to proceed immediately to the next clip. The second option
gives the impression that you are watching one continuous movie even though
you are jumping between separate clips.

Hope this is useful info for the original poster.

It's a bit of a hassle to do, but you can connect two projects by opening
the first project, selecting everything on the video track and copying it.
Then open the 2nd project, and paste it.

You'd need to do the same for each track on the timeline.

Doing it for three projects would be similar, just more time consuming.
