Hi, a friend is looking to connect her two computers in order to share
internet access and she asked me how. Now I ask you.

Is it possible to connect two computers in order to share a DIAL-UP internet
connection? She does not yet have a router or hub, just the two computers
and a dream. If she can do it, would the connection speed be even slower
with both online and surfing at the same time?

These are pretty new computers, no more than two years old, and I think
PIII's.

Thanks for any help

Sharing 2 PC's is easy and can be achieved using 2 network cardsand a
crossover cable, as for speed
well it depends on what you use them both for, if 1 runs Kazaa then the
second will suffer

If you are unsure then seek expert help from a local Comp Engineer
