I am trying to remotely control a windows 2000 computer,
from a pocket pc, so i tried using vnc, but for some
reason it cant find the computer when i try to connect.
(i have the same problem when i am using a desktop to
connect). the computer is behind an unconfigurable
firewall/router. Does anyone have anysuggestion or other
ideas hot to connect?

You can't connect to machines on private networks running private IP#s that
sit behind NAT Devices (Firewalls) from machines out in Internet-land. That
is the whole point of building the network that way.

You either have to setup a static NAT (reverse NAT) from the NAT Device to
make the machines available to the outside,...or use a VPN connection from
the outside.
