Connecting to Win XP pro now doen't work... Why???

Hi, I have a small network at home, everything was working fine but now
nobody can access the main computer its like it refuses do accept
connections for file sharing... if I go to \\armindo (that's the computer
name on the network) by the explorer it asks me for a guest password (guest
account isn't even activated), but if I try a network drive it allows me to
choose user and pass but the weird thing is that it refuses any user/pass
combination... not even administrator pass works...

does anyone got an idea of what can be happening????

Nelson,

what operating systems are on the computers? I suspect the
problem computer runs Windows 98 or ME. Is this really so?
