I have a three computer network at home with Win 98, a DSl
modem and router. We use private adress space and DHCP.
When I connect up my son's win xp computer to it and try
to share files. He gets a DHCP private address, and can
see and share the files on the 98 computers just fine, as
well as print to a printer connected to them. After I
fooled with it I can sometimes see his computer (it shows
up in his home domain) but I cannot see his c:
drive/files? He appears to have admin rights to the box.
Does it have to do with domain trusts? I am sort of a
computer person, but am no MCP.
Has anybody had this happen to them before?
If possible also e-mail me with any suggestions
Thanks for your time.
