Hi,

Does anyone know how to connect to a Windows 2003 server running a VPN
from a Mac os X machine? I have VPN tracker and have set up hardware
VPN's but this seems different.

I've been given the WAN IP, Local IP range, Subnet and a user name and
password.

Thanks in advance.

MJ

Hi MJ,

I am working on the same issue. It is very hard to get an answer when it
regards a Mac. I have been able to use VPN tracker to access a SonicWall VPN
appliance and then access the Windows 2003 Domain. I am using MS RDC (remote
desktop connection) for the Mac and it works well. However I have not been
able to get any help with using just the Mac OS-X VPN client to connect to a
2003 MS RAS Server.
Have you found out anything?

The built-in vpn client for OSX is junk. The only thing I got to work with
my w2k VPN is digitunnel. http://www.gracion.com/vpn/ - it has a 30 day free
demo.
