Being an impatient type of person I couldn't wait two days for my broadband
to arrive before I tried out my new PC so I invested in a modem and connected
to the internet. I am now connected to NTL but keep getting the message
"Your POP3 server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait
another 60 senonds for the server to respond?" and I am given the optionf of
"wait" and "stop". I am a real novice, can anyone help?

You don't have your email set up correctly. Refer to your ISP's
directions on how to set up your email program.

It's the Internet Service Provider that you signed up with to give you
internet access so you can go to www.google.com to learn how to search for
such terms as ISP.

Hi,

Open your mail program, get into the mail account settings and change the
primary connection to either the new NTL connection or "any available".
