I have been using AOL for a long time and we dumped it. Now that I have uninstalled the software when ever I am looking at a email with a internet link and click on it won’t take me to the web site I get a message box called “locate link browser.†I am sure this is related to my dumping AOL.

Do you have any idea what the fix is

Hi Dusty,

Close Internet Explorer and Outlook Express if either are open.

Start/run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes)

Control panel/Internet options/programs tab, click on "reset all web
settings"

Reopen and retry the links in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.

various net programs share some of the same files, one being Aol. reinstall Aol,load-up your new program, then remove most of aol such as desk top, messenger, etc. but not the shared files. which, when you are removing Aol it will warn you that "these files may be used by other programs do you want to delete anyway? NO!...and you'll be just fine..........JONZ!
