I've got a HP Pavilion that is connected to the internet via cable. Works for everything except for Instant Support on HP. It says I'm not connected to the internet. Any thoughts?
It's not a problem with Windows XP. I believe HP has an update for this issue. You may need to check with HP tech-support for this issue. If none of the Help and Support functions work, then let us know.
If your link to HP Instant Support is from within the Help and Support
Center then try to re-run the Internet Connection Wizard:
Launch Internet Explorer
Select Tools
Select Internet Options
Click the Connections tab
Click the Setup button to re-run the Internet Connection Wizard.
After you've gone through the wizard and verified that Internet Explorer can
load web pages, try the HP support link again.
