i have the same problem, only on a desktop wireless
connection. everything worked before, but now i think
the firewall is preventing it from working. if you find
out why, please post your fix.

It also might be an ISP blocking the connection...

1. Check the firewall/router on the server end of the connection -
make sure that you are forwarding TCP Port 3389 to the private IP of
the appropriate computer (double check if you are using DHCP).
2. Doublecheck the public IP address you are using... If you are on
Cable or DSL, you IP address is more than likely subject to change
occaisonally.
3. Try to connect to your system from a different internet
connection...

.

From my house I have no problems getting to my office. I
use optonline at home and have optonline at my office.
The issue I have is the SprintPCS getting to optonline. I
have 4 or 5 others who have SprintPCS cards who work with
me and are having the same problem.

I have a linksys wired router and have the same problem.
It used to work and has now quit. Help would be greatly
appreciated. I have even removed the router, zonealarm,
turned off xp firewall, anything I can think of. HELP!

By the way you describe it, there seems to be something on the
SprintPCS network that is blocking you... I know with some services
(like TMobile T-Zones), you are limited to only web and POP/IMAP
services. Maybe Sprint works in this same way...

Try posting to the HowardForums (http://www.howardforums.com)
SprintPCS board to see if others are having similar issues.
