I have XP Pro at home with RD enabled. Previously, everything worked great
until.......

1) I disabled Fast User Switching
2) I enabled autologon
3) I updated to the latest DirectUpdate for Dyndns and enabled automatic
dialing.

Now, when I connect from work, it immediately drops the PPOE connection and
then redials it based on the DirectUpdate settings. I am verifying this by
pinging. After the IP changes, I connect again and try to logon. BAM!
PPPOE disconnects again.

Any ideas? Do you think the PPPOE is dropping because it's logging me off?

Thanks in advance,

Rich

I take it you are using the built in PPPOE client, correct? It seems
that you are being logged out when you connect via RD, thus dropping
the connection...

I'm not sure if there is a way around this other than re-enabling
FUS...
