Is there a way to connect to a network printer in Windows XP Professional
(the printing server is Windows 2003 server) using different user name
(similar to the way you can connect to a network share using different user
name)? In case there is, how i connect and install a network printer on my
Windows XP comp using different user name.

Thanks in advance,

IIRC, you can only use one set of credentials when accessing services
on a server, i.e. if you have already logged on to the server using
your own user name, you cannot use another user name for another
service.

If distributing printer drivers via the printer share is not a must,
you might want to use LPD/LPR (Unix style) printing as this does not
require user validation at all.
