I am using Vista sp1, and outlook 2007.. with exchange 2003.. sp1.

Its showing as disconnected.. when I change to NTLM authentication it
connects successfully.

My Vista firewall is turned off.

Can anyone offer any clues ?

If I set "always prompt for credentials"

This will work with Negotiate Authentication, Kerberos, and NTLM. No
problems.

This is really quite confusing.

I would like to keep the default setting of Negotiate Authentication and
have everything connecting. I dont; understand whats wrong.

sorry only with ntlm again. Kerberos not working.

I have tried so many things I am getting confused.

I don't know if I understand the problem. What do you want to happen?

The autonegotiate is broken.

I need to set NTLM authentication manually to be able to login.
Kerberos is not available and therefore no logins occur to exchange.

Is your PC in the same domain as the Exchange server?
