Hi,
I wanted to set up remote access to a WinXP Home PC with a 56k modem
connected to a phone jack, but with no connection to the Internet.
It would allow remote entry of data on the PC at times where nobody is at
the PC.
I know this is old-fashioned, and maybe it's too simple, but I dont' know
the answer.
Why would we want to do it this way? This is for a small nonprofit
organization, where we don't want to tie up the phone line all night or have
to have someone there to connect and disconnect the PC from the Internet. In
addition, we would strongly prefer not to allow the PC to access the Internet
since it will be used during the day by unsupervised teens.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
