Connecting to certain web pages

Recently IE6.0 has been preventing me from going to certain web pages.
Example-found a product and want to make an on-line purchase. Netscape brings
me to their purchase web site where CC info is sent and the purchase is made.
IE6.0 no longer brings me to this page. Typically it says that no items have
been marked for purchase.

Does anyone have clue on how to find this needle in a haystack problem.
Disabling the firewall didn't work. Besides it works in Netscape, so it must
be an IE6.0 setting issue. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443. See also
