I've just started getting tons of messages about signing into the above
sites. I tried putting them in the host file with the 127.0.0.1 address and
into restricted sites in IE. I also get the same messages in Firefox.

Any ideas on how I can stop them?

Use this HOSTS file;

Thanks but I already had doubleclick in the hosts file. I just renamed my
host file and the messages went away. I renamed it back to host and the
messages came back. Weird!

It's possible that your HOSTS file is corrupt, Dave.
Save it to a back-up and try this one, it blocks doubleclick and "msads".
