I have a network at home with 3 computers all running
winxp pro. My friend has 2 computers networked at his
house running winxp pro. We just want our networks to
see eachother as if they're together (free of course).
Is there any way to do this. Try not to be too technical
with me.
Thanks for looking,
Jon

Yes, you can simply expose your files to your friend over the
internet, but that means exposing them to the fifty million
other folks on the 'net; bad idea.

Use VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology to create an
encrypted channel (called a tunnel) through the 'net.

You can google your way to tons of info about VPN.
