Connecting networks in two homes

I would like to join two home networks into a single network using wireless
means. Each home currently has its own 100BaseT network. The homes are
500-600 feet apart with an intervening house and a number of trees.

Any help including direction to other on-line resources would be
appreciated. Thanks.

Pretty hopeless. WiFi runs on Line Of Sight, and that house and those
trees block LOS.

For enough money, you could do it with a pair of towers mounted high
enough to get LOS and, probably, amps at each end to compensate for
the cable loss up the towers.

It may be easier to use one PC as the server for both houses, with
VPN over the internet to allow PCs in the other house access to
shared resources.
