Connecting Laptop to tv via S -video cable

I have been trying to connect my lap top Toshiba
Satellite 3000 to my TV via S-video cable. I am running
XP professional and cannot seem to get it going, even
when using the function F5 button. I use to be able to
connect both when I had Millenuim on my lap top,
therefore I know I should be able to connect it. Can you
please provide me with some assistance to resolve this
problem.

If using the drivers that shipped with XP, these are usually very basic
drivers and may not support TV output. You may need to install drivers
that support all of your adapter's features instead of just some. Check
with Sony for their availability.
