I have a win2k server/client network at work and want to
be able to connect from home to run programs from home.
My network at work has DSL. Do I use RAS? Teerrminal
server? How do I do this? Where do I start?

Thanks,

Mike

If you want to run programs that "live" on your server, you need terminal
services. If you are the administrator, or you will be logging in as
administrator, you can use one of the two free Administration mode
connections. If you are not logging in with admin. rights, you will need to
use Application server mode. You will need licenses for that.

RAS will not get you into the applications, it will only allow you to access
file shares inside the firewall.

Setup VPN and then run the TS.
