Hi All
I am new to the group and new to building computers. I have an Asus
P5B-E Motherboard, on it there are 4 fan conections one for the CPU
one for a power fan and two for chassis fans, I have a Lian-Li pc-
v1000+ case with 3 chassis fans one front inlet, one rear inlet and
one side top outlet my PSU has no fan control wire. So can I connect
the 3 chassis fans to the 3 fan connectors and if so which one do I
connect to the power fan connector? I presume these connections
control the speed of the fans as against direct connection to the PSU
operating the fans at full speed all the time.

Some are and some are not. My Lian Li case has it's own fan control. It uses
one Molex connector from the PSU and controls all the fans you wish it too.
It has a 3-position switch just above the right side front intake fan.
