Windows Vista Connecting Camcorder to Windows XP Media Center 2005

Could somebody please help me! I have a JVC Camcorder in wich i'm trying to connect to my HP Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 PC via Firewire cable 4-pin to 6-pin, but my PC is not compatiable with the Firewire, is there a Hub or a card that i need in order for this to work? Please Help
