I have a Panasonic VHS C Camcorder and I need to know if
it can be used with Movie Maker 2. If so, how do I do
this? When using the install wizard, it say's that my
computer has a capture device, however, the ports that
are not being used are USB ports. I have a Compaq
Presario 6000 computer. Right know I am mainly wanting to
edit video tape to send via e-mail or record back to VHS.
Any help or information on getting what I need to use
Movie Maker 2 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.....

You need some kind of analog to digital conversion device. See the Analog
Video Capture section of www.papajohn.org to see what others are using.

My new Dazzle 80 device is an example of one... you plug the RCA cables from
an analog camcorder, VCR, etc. into the device and it gets plugged into a
USB port. Then it's used by Movie Maker 2 to capture video from the player.
