Can anyone tell me how I can configure a windows 2000
server so that I can get another branch to attach to the
network so that they can access a file server.

Currently we have a cisco 2600 firewall router at our head
office and we have a cisco 837 router going to be
installed at the branch location. However I have to try
and configure the servers to allow this process can
someone let me know what I can do to allow such access.

We also have a radius server authenticating can I use this
to allow the access??

The two routers need to be able to establish a "Router-to-Router VPN" to
make this work. The LANs would then communicated perfectly fine as if the
were in the same room together (but slower).

Sometimes these VPN implementations are a bit "proprietary" so the routers
should be the same brand and model. If that second router hasn't been
purchased yet, you need to consider that.

We use this kind of setup using Watchguard 1000 series Firewalls and join
over 20 site together that span the continental US and Puerto Rico. It works
perfectly fine.
