Hi,
I recently set up a wireless network at home and before that I was quite
happy with vista then this happend.

I am connected to the net, I know this because all my programs including
Windows are updating themselves, and I can ping webpages buy using cmd prompt
and get a reply but when I try to use a browser it comes up with:
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
Not connected to net
Website has problems
Typing error in address"

I've tried IE, Firefox and Opera all encounter the same error, I took it to
my universities IT professionals and stumped them, spent hours on this
discussion looking up how to fix it and can't find anything

I've disabled the Phishing Filter
The guys at uni went through all the IP, TCP and heaps of other various
abriveations of things I have only a little idea of what they are.

I have tried connecting wireless, and via ethernet, all same problem.
I have windows vista home basic

Can anyone help me please!
I'm completely stumped

MyIPv4 DNS settings are in place but in the connection details my IPv6
settings are completely blank. Could this have something to do with it?
I thought that as long as one version of the IP DNS settings were in place
the other couldn't matter that much.
