I have a computer in which I can find the computer on the
LAN, but could not find anything else. I should be able
to see several workgroups and other computers and snap
servers we haveon the networ. Nor can I get on the
Internet. So, there is connection but no IP.

Things I tried:
Pinging the snap servers but they all timed out. I
Checked all the physical connections, disconnecting and
reconnecting them all againI
Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver.
Got so that I even turned off the entire system and
turned it back on
Other computers I checked were fine.
I checked the settings in other computers to see if
this computer was different and there was no problem
there
I also tried to set a static IP address, but nothing
And, of course, I restarted her computer numerous times
Anything I tried came up with the same result.

I hope you have a solution. Thank you.

Hi,

Please make sure that you are able to obtain an IP address if you are
configured to be a DHCP client.

If you are not obtaining an IP address, then please check the router or the
hub or the switch that you
are connected to if the DHCP server is not on the same subnet.

When you configured a static IP address and you were still not able to ping
the machines
on the network.....but were you able to do the following?

1. Ping 127.0.0.1..........this will tell that the stack initialized
correctly.
2. Ping your own IP address..........this will tell that the IP bound
correctly.
3. Ping the default gateway that you configured on the machine.
