Connect Xp RDP through PROXY to w2k terminal server

Using remote desktop connection of windows xp we are able
to connect to Windows 2000 terminal server.The windows xp
machine has winproxy installed for internet access.The
other machines on the LAN are able to connect to internet
through the proxy on windows xp but are unable to connect
to the windows 2000 terminal server using the remote
desktop connection.

I would strongly suggest a router instead of s/w proxy.
